BNSF Supervisor Academy

The BNSF Supervisor Academy is an accelerated, hands-on leadership program that prepares high potential talent to step directly into frontline management roles across our national rail network. New supervisors begin with an immersive orientation offering a comprehensive overview of BNSF, the railroad industry, and the foundational principles that guide our operations, followed by scenario-based training at the BNSF Training Center in Kansas.
The program builds confident leaders through consistent instruction, real-world field experience, and a strong focus on safety, digital tools, and operational excellence. Graduates continue to receive mentorship and advanced development throughout their careers, supporting long-term growth in a mission-driven, high-impact environment.
